CuraLexa acts solely as a coordination and administrative service.
We do not provide medical advice, legal advice, or expert opinions.
All expert witnesses operate independently and are responsible for their own professional duties, compliance, and reporting.
Solictors remain responsible for:
• Ensuring expert instructions are accurate
• Providing complete medical records
• Managing all deadlines for litigation
• Paying expert invoices directly
Experts remain responsible for:
• The accuracy and quality of medico-legal reports
• Compliance with CPR Part 35 requirements
• Their own professional conduct
CuraLexa charges a coordination/admin fee for sourcing, scheduling, and case-handling support.
This fee is invoiced to the law firm unless agreed otherwise.
CuraLexa accepts no liability for the professional work or opinions of any expert.
Data Protection Statement for Solicitor & Expert Forms
By submitting this form, you acknowledge that CuraLexa will process the information you provide for the purpose of sourcing and coordinating a medico-legal expert.
We only collect the minimum information necessary, and all data is handled in compliance with UK GDPR.
Sensitive documents such as medical records will only be requested after initial contact and should be sent securely (password-protected or encrypted).
We do not share your information with third parties except where required to match you with a suitable expert.

CuraLexa treats all documents, communications, and case information as strictly confidential.
• Medical records are only shared with the appointed expert.
• Expert CVs and documents are only shared with instructed solicitors.
• All sensitive documents should be password-protected before being sent.
• CuraLexa will never disclose case details to any party outside the intended instruction.
This confidentiality extends to all communications via email, form submissions, telephone, or shared documentation.
Secure Workflow for Handling Medical Documents
To comply with UK GDPR and industry standards, CuraLexa follows this secure process:
1. Initial enquiry
No medical records are collected at the enquiry stage. Only basic case details.
2. Post-enquiry approval
Once an instruction is accepted, the solicitor is asked to send records password-protected.
3. Secure transmission
• Solicitor emails encrypted ZIP/PDF files
• Password sent separately
4. Internal handling
• Files are stored only for the duration of the case
• Access is restricted
• Files are never uploaded to third-party platforms without encryption
5. Expert transfer
Documents are forwarded securely to the chosen expert.
6. Deletion
CuraLexa deletes all medical records after the case is closed, unless retention is legally required.
